Before I started making my own soap, my face would react badly to the commercial soaps. A friend of mine was a soap maker. She showed me many of the ins and outs of soap making. Since then, no more problems with my skin!
My husband and I moved to Portugal in 2012, where we were delighted to discover our new home had olive trees!
Each year we take all our olives to the local olive oil mill in the fall. we then collect our oil when all the pressing has been done. We naturally use our oil in the kitchen, but the majority of the olive oil goes into our soaps.
